In the article “Compassion satisfaction, burnout, and secondary traumatic stress among full-time veterinarians in the United States (2016–2018)” (J Am Vet Med Assoc 2021;258(11):1259–1270), a statement was inadvertently omitted from the Acknowledgments section indicating that the idea of using the Professional Quality of Life Scale to assess the well-being of veterinarians participating in the study had previously been suggested by the 2015–2016 AVMA Future Leaders class.
