The actual dosage of gabapentin that was administered is 50 mg, PO, every 8 hours, which is a dosage of 9.3 mg/kg (4.2 mg/lb), PO, every 8 hours for the 5.4-kg (11.9-lb) castrated male Maltese mixed-breed dog treated.
