In the article “Effects of acepromazine, hydromorphone, or an acepromazine-hydromorphone combination on the degree of sedation in clinically normal dogs” (J Am Vet Med Assoc 2010;237;1155–1159), the dosage of acepromazine was incorrect. The correct dosage of acepromazine is 0.05 mg/kg (0.023 mg/lb).
