Each year since 2005 the AJVR covers have incorporated figures published in the preceding volume to help us depict our global reach and provide a glimpse into the journal's diverse range of contents—from the molecular core of the species studied to the whole animals benefited by the results of the published studies. Continuing that theme, the following figures that were published in 2006 were chosen for reproduction on the 2007 AJVR covers.

From top to bottom on the right side, these figures follow:

Figure 2 from Qian DH, Zhu GJ, Wu LZ, et al. Isolation and characterization of a coronavirus from pigeons with pancreatitis. Am J Vet Res 2006;67:1575–1579.

Figure 1 from Valente ALS, Cuenca R, Zamora MA, et al. Sectional anatomic and magnetic resonance imaging features of coelomic structures of loggerhead sea turtles. Am J Vet Res 2006;67:1347–1353.

Figure 1 from Schwandt CS, Bohorquez-Vanelli A, Tepic S, et al. Angle between the patellar ligament and tibial plateau in dogs with partial rupture of the cranial cruciate ligament. Am J Vet Res 2006;67:1855–1860.

Figure 2A from Puglia GD, Freeman LM, Rush JE, et al. Use of a flow-mediated vasodilation technique to assess endothelial function in dogs. Am J Vet Res 2006; 67:1533–1540.

Figure 1A from Hildreth III BE, Ellison GW, Roberts JF, et al. Biomechanical and histologic comparison of single-layer continuous Cushing and simple continuous appositional cystotomy closure by use of poliglecaprone 25 in rats with experimentally induced inflammation of the urinary bladder. Am J Vet Res 2006;67:686–692.
