The International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Symposium was held from Sept. 11-15, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee. Hosts of the symposium presented awards, recognized new diplomates, and seated new officials.
Dr. John de Jong, a small animal practitioner from Boston, will be the next president of the World Veterinary Association. He hopes to use his enthusiasm and experience to help elevate the WVA on the world stage.
The AVMA and Viticus Group, the organization behind the WVC conference, are partnering to offer new continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians that will combine virtual and hands-on components.
